Mission

With the increasing discussion and tension regarding the power and control over the city of Jerusalem and with a future escalation, of which the size is incalculable, prayer for this capital of capital cities is more than ever appropriate, urgent and important, even more so, Biblical. Those that are aware, that this stumbling block for the Nations will prove to be a cornerstone for the world, are standing up together as one to take a stand in prayer.

For this purpose, the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast (JPB) is an adequate global prayer movement. It is initiated and chaired by Knesset member Robert Ilatov, co-chaired by United States Congress member Michele Bachmann and coordinated by JPB Director Albert Veksler.

Via this universal mobilization, numerous believers of the Nations gather to align themselves with God’s command and purposes for Israel and Jerusalem. Together they fulfil the prophets’ words from the Scriptures and answer the Knesset’s call to the Nations. In these meetings Prayer and Worship are prioritized, trusting that when we unite in the promise and agree together in prayer, all things are possible.

The inaugural Prayer Breakfast in 2017, was attended by 570 delegates, representing 58 countries. Henceforth yearly, the JPB brings together governmental and key influential religious and business leaders from all walks of society for an annual gathering in Israel’s capital city to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

These gatherings are also held in other strategic cities throughout the world. Like in The Hague June 25-26, 2019; an initiative in agreement and support by the JPB board and consistent to the mission, that is taking Israel-Christian relations to a higher level, helping countries to recognize the Biblical and historical significance of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and to consider moving their Embassies there.

Through these prayer breakfasts, the truth about Israel is advanced, as well as the acknowledgment of its unique contributions and leadership, to serve for the public good. With all for one, it’s powerful to perform the mission to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and to establish her as one for all: a blessing to the nations.
